Cameron Copper Project


The Cameron Copper Project is an exploration project located 30 kilometres south of the Company’s Eva Copper Project, in Queensland, Australia. It lies within the Company’s large prospective mineralized land package of approximately 2100 km2 within the Mount Isa Inlier region of Queensland. Mount Isa Inlier is host to several world class copper, zinc, lead and silver mineralisation with significant active and historic mines. The Cameron Copper Project includes the C6 Target (Quamby), C1 Target (Companion) and C2 Target (Reaper) all of which have been early stage tested. The Company’s 2021 exploration program is focused on Cameron Copper, consisting of 6,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling and 1,200 of diamond drilling. On October 6, 2022, Copper Mountain Mining announced it has entered into an agreement to sell the Eva Copper Project and its 2,100km2 exploration land package in Queensland, Australia, which is expected to close in the first quarter of 2023.
